Established in 2016, Purple Flamingo is a family business based in Marston Moretaine; serving the surrounding areas of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
Owner, and chief baker, Marti has over 20 years professional classroom experience as a primary school teacher in both the public and the private sector, as well as providing private one-to-one tuition. She has a life-long passion for baking cakes and desserts … and enjoys eating them too! She says, “The idea for Purple Flamingo came from baking and cooking with the children in my class, and with my young nephews and nieces at home. I could see how much they enjoyed it and how much they learnt from it, and I wanted other children to have the opportunity to share this experience.”
