Description
Does your child LOVE to write stories? Then they are invited to join a Purple Flamingo Writing Workshop!
For children of any age who love to write stories.
Each session will begin with discussing different “Inspirations“and the story themes they create. Then the children will make their own story plan – with as much or as little support as they’d like, and begin to write their story. The children will be encouraged to write independently, but help will be given to structure ideas, create exciting sentences, etc, if they wish.
Paper and pencils will be provided, but children are welcome to bring a favourite notebook or pen/pencil!
The Writing Workshops are only for children, but parents/carers are welcome to stay and enjoy Marston Beans’ delicious coffee and cakes at a separate table!
The Writing Workshops are run by a qualified teacher (with current DBS cert) and first aid training.
Important Note: This workshop is for children of any age, but they must be able to write sentences independently.
