Is your child a BOOK WORM? Then they are invited to join The Purple Flamingo Book Club!
Come along to read, write, talk and craft! For Y3, Y4 and Y5 children who are keen readers.
Five weeks of sharing our favourite books, and exploring new ones in a fun & nurturing environment.
Each child will be given a reading journal to personalise, and to use to record their thoughts and ideas about books they’ve read personally and during the book club. Snacks provided too!
The Purple Flamingo Book Club is only for children, but parents/carers are welcome to stay and enjoy Marston Beans’ delicious coffee and cakes at a separate table!
The book club is run by a qualified teacher (with current DBS cert) and first aid training.
Important Note: This Book Club is for keen & confident readers. It will not be suitable for those children who struggle or cannot already read easily.

Venue: Marston Beans, 2 Garricks Court, Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, MK43 0XR
Time: 9am on Saturdays (20th & 27th April, and 4th, 11th & 18th May).
Duration: Approx. one hour per session.
Cost: £22 (special introductory offer!)
